Buckinghamshire Advice Service website is a dedicated website for Buckinghamshire Residents and is a website run by the charity Banburyshire Citizen Project, a charity based in Banbury. We are experts in Welfare Benefits, general advice, education course information and Career Advice. We are members of Advice UK. We can arrange free initial advice for Wills and Power of Attorney. We are also able to arrange home visits in Buckinghamshire in order to fill in Benefit forms with the DWP Home Visiting Team. WE DO NOT GIVE DEBT ADVICE.
Banburyshire Advice Centre serves residents living in Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire.

General Advice
We can provide general advice and information on a wide range of subjects. We do not give debt advice or Tax Advice but we can signpost you on to services who can help.
We do not give legal advice but can refer you on to a specialist for free initial advice who can help with Wills and Power of Attorney. The legal specialist may be able to do a home visit in Buckinghamshire.
Benefit Advice
We can give advice on a wide range of benefits. We can help fill in benefit forms such as Attendance Allowance, Personal Independence Payments and Work capability Assessments at one of our venues in Banbury.
We do not do home visits but we can arrange for a Home visit to fill in forms with the DWP Home Visiting Team. Alternatively if you can travel to our advice centres we are happy to help fill in the benefit forms for you. The advice centre does not stock the forms; they have to be requested by contacting the benefit office. (See Useful number page).
Food Bank Vouchers
If you are struggling financially we can issue Food Bank Vouchers to help you out whilst things are tough.

Our Experts Are the Finest
Andy Willis BCAv our Founder and Chairman of Banburyshire Advice Centre is a Fellow Paralegal with 15 years experience. His charitable work has been recognised nationally when he received a British Citizen Award and a Honorary Masters Degree from the Open University.
More recently he was awarded a Points of Light Award from the Prime Minister, Rt Hon Boris Johnson.
His team of highly trained volunteers work holistically with clients in order to resolve issues and problems the client faces, whether that is financial or other improvements such as Mental Health and Wellbeing.
The charity recently won the Award of Voluntary Organisation of the Year 2021 in the Cherwell "Love Where You Live" Awards.
